Jessica M. Conover, MEd.,  MA, CCC-SLP

Hello, I’m Jess Conover, owner and speech-language pathologist at PickleTree Pediatric Therapy. I am passionate about helping children overcome difficulties with speech, language, feeding/swallowing, oral function, and literacy.

Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of lecturing to other speech therapists, general education, and special education teachers within the school setting.  I currently provide consultative services to school districts on implementing social/emotional curriculums school-wide.

After ten years practicing as a school-based speech therapist, I realized the challenge of practicing speech therapy in a setting where caseloads and educational plans can compromise therapeutic and educational success.  Providing therapy through private practice allows me the opportunity to not only customize treatment according to the specific needs of your child, but also affords me the chance to get to know you as a parent and help you to help your child through home programming.

Successful therapy translates to unlocking your child’s full potential, leading to a happier child.  These skills build on each other to facilitate higher quality interactions with family and peers.  As an added bonus, we often see educational measures improve as well. I look forward to meeting you and your child!

When I’m not furthering my obsession with professional development and continuing education, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, cooking, running, organic gardening, and falling asleep before the end of a good movie!
